You've really inspired me to consider making this sweater, and learning some of the same things you were ready to learn. Knitting in the sleeves would be a challenge for me, but I worked on short rows at Stitches East, so it would be good to have a project that makes me use them beyond the obvious bust darts.

Thanks for the inspiration!

Thank you,

Thank you for your comment. I am glad it was helpful. I had intended to add in more photos of other types of increase stitches but was not able to find time. Hopefully in a couple of months, I will be able to put in more time to update my blog.

Thanks so much! I'll drop in often to watch for the update! I had thought of your idea of just using heavier weight yarn, unfortunately, when my grandaughter was here over Xmas, she actually chose the yarn I would use for her next sweater...no wiggle room there...(cause she's the ~boss~ you know!) I've started a different project, but will keep this one in mind for next year! Thanks again!

Thanks for your interest in the pattern. I will try to look into incorporating various sizes into the pattern soon. At the mean time, one quick way is to experiment with large yarn weight and needles, even though the number of stitches may still need some tweaking. I hope to add more sizes in a month.
